(Photo by Patipat Janthong)The first fleet of luxury taxis was operational on Friday as an alternative for wealthy passengers. Fifteen Mercedez Benz taxis joined the launch postponed from Wednesday but only five of them had been registered for public transport. The Land Transport Department said it planned to increase the number to 100 within two months. The new taxi can be booked through Taxi OK app of the department, All Thai Taxi app, @allthaitaxi Line ID or call centre 0-2018-9799 of All Thai Taxi Co, which operates the fleet.
